Job Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for Software Quality operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.
- Ensure that project and process control documentation are compliant with standards, objectives, and/or contract requirements via inspection, reviews, and audits.
- Develop overall operating measures and criteria to ensure implementation of the Software Quality program according to standards, objectives, and/or contract requirements.
- Ensure measures meet acceptable performance standards/targets/goals.
- Contribute to software development and maintenance processes and methods utilized by Software Engineering, ensuring compliance with requirements, objectives and/or contract requirements.
- Review software engineering work products (e.g., design, change specifications, and plans) against contractual and/or process requirements
- Perform or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Required Skills
- Understanding of software engineering principles, practices, and theories.
- Experience in operating in a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Strong analytical skill with an understanding of basic problem solving.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience coding in Ada, C, C++, and/or Python.
- Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools such as DOORs, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket.
- Experience with ISO and AS9100 standards requirements.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action tools.
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn and implement new processes.
- Knowledge of waterfall and/or Agile life-cycles.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, another STEM degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of software experience or 3 years with a Master’s degree or 0 years with a PhD in one of the above disciplines.

Pay: $36.50 - $57.00 per hour
