Assured Information Security (AIS) has an immediate opening for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester. This position requires an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly and is located onsite in Columbia. MD.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) support to ensure the multiple components work as intended end-to-end.
- Assist in initiating technical oversight guidance in support of customer.
- Develop new testing and evaluation processes and policy that could increase efficiencies in existing testing harnesses through automation to optimize existing standards and processes.
- Develop test standards and provide oversight to test implementation.
- Monitor and review evaluation results by examining evaluation reports, conducting audits on final T&E reports and document findings.
- Prepare T&E validation reports.
- Detail test and evaluation activities over a program's life cycle that identifies evaluation criteria and articulates the necessary resources needed for mission accomplishment.
- Validate architecture, verify compliance, ensure compatibility with partners, validate dataflow, and assess performance of systems/components.
Education & Experience:
- A degree in computer science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline OR equivalent combination of education and experience:
- BA/BS, the candidate must have at least 18 years' experience.
- MA/MS degree, the candidate must have at least 15 years' experience.
- Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly
- Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.
- Experience in software development, Object Oriented Programming, C, C++, Java, J2SE, XML, Visual Basic Suite including Visual Source Safe, J Builder, Windows Development Environment, Windows Client, and [or] other commonly used programming languages.

US Salary Range: $220,000 - $240,000
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location, skills and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
