General Position Description:
XSITE LLC is looking for a highly self-motivated software industry professional, with experience in working with software teams to deliver high-quality, mission specific software solutions.
XSITE is adding a Quality Assurance role to an existing small team to support ongoing software engineering efforts supporting a computational model of communication traffic. The team develops using two-week sprints. This position will support the testing of individual features as well as the overall quality of quarterly releases.
This position is primarily remote with occasional visits to customer facilities as required. The candidate should have experience working remotely and be comfortable with working with other remote team members.
Job Description:
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Develop Test Plans for existing and new software components
- Execute Test Plans to evaluate stories as they are completed
- Document defects using Azure Dev Ops
- Review technical documentation with software implementation to ensure technical accuracy
- Analyze detailed results from computational engineering model
- Work with team of developers to understand requirements and implementation details
- Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- B.S or M.S in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in a software testing role
- Expertise testing web based single page apps (ReactJs)
- Experience with multi-tier architectures
- Experience with SQL
- Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance
Desired skills:
- Experience testing and evaluation of detailed computational models
- Experience with Linux OS
- Security Plus Certification
- Experience with Systems Engineering and/or working within the DoD community
- Active security clearance
