Location: Remote. Must work in a location within the United States.

about the role

The Software Quality Assurance role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through the design and execution of test plans, test cases and test automation.

responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans that outline the testing approach, scope, resources, and deliverables.
• Create detailed, well structured test cases and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Design and implement automated test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Identify, document and track defects through the entire testing lifecycle. Prepare and maintain test summary reports, providing regular updates on testing progress and defect status.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers,developers, product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Quality Assurance trends, frameworks, and tools. Identify opportunities to incorporate new technologies to improve our Software Quality.
• Comply with and hold with utmost regard all compliance requirements to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.

requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance engineer
• proven experience in testing data rich platforms and applications.
• strong proficiency in writing and understanding SQL 
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as pytest, Postman and Cypress.
• excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• detail oriented with a focus on delivering high quality software
• experience in AWS preferred
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and grittiness as you join revology in an early phase of our start-up journey. Working within the gray is an absolute

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted.  Frequently required to sit for extended periods during the workday.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity required.  Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.
