Salary* Please note this is an in-office position based in Norfolk, VA.
We are seeking an experienced QA specialist to join our Product team. The ideal candidate must be familiar with testing software products/mobile applications/integrations and end to end performance testing.
As a member of the Product team, you will collaborate with the Development team to support release planning, estimation, and delivery of products.
This position is based out of our Norfolk, VA office, no remote or relocation.
Job Duties:
- Plan, estimate, execute and oversee testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables
- Investigate reports of product quality issues and ensure resolution
- Manage documentation of new integrations and enhancements to existing products
- Review and analyze business requirements, system specifications and user stories to plan, create, and execute test plans
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
- Execute functional, performance, application, and regression tests
- Work closely with other product team and development team members to deliver exceptional products
- Adherence to the software development life cycle, testing standards, and best practices
- Coach team members in delivery and release activities related to the deployment or configuration of new integrations and enhancements
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a QA or similar role
- Experience in product/integration/mobile application testing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with SQL
- Experience with testing rest APIs
- Experience with using Postman
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Notepad++
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
