Software Qa Intern

The Software QA Intern assists in carrying out testing activities related to business application system changes ensuring software releases are of the highest quality.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

1. Execute test cases and document results ensuring Oriental Trading Company, Inc. software development standards, polices and documentation requirements are met
2. Log defects, retest and close when applicable
3. Assist in the design and creation of test plans, test scenarios, test cases and scripts to meet business and functional requirements to ensure highest level of quality for software releases
4. Assist with design of system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing utilizing business/functional requirements
5. Maintain regular and predictable attendance
6. Abide by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company, Inc
7. Must be able to attend meetings on short or little advance notice
8. Work in the Information Technology Department office environment requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors unless working remotely where Teams can be used

Education

• Associate’s degree or in progress to complete in Business, Computer Science, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
