Software Programmer
Under the direction of Director of Programming, the Software Programmer will be responsible for designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software applications. Tasks will include supporting and/or installing software applications and testing, debugging and documenting programs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications
- Follow predefined procedures and guidelines throughout software development
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
- Create panel wiring schedules and coordinate with multiple departments
- Work with multiple departments through design and build process
- Setup customer computers as part of development process
- Provide support to field staff and customers
- Assume additional responsibilities, as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Has knowledge of commonly-used programming concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to apply knowledge to environment
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues with technical and non-technical audiences via written and verbal communication
- Background with Wonderware InTouch, Indusoft, and/or Modicon and Omron PLC's helpful, but not necessary
- Knowledge of SQL-based databases
- Some travel may be required
Education and Experience:
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Must be familiar with and able to apply generally accepted programming methods, practices, concepts, and techniques
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding helpful, but not necessary

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
