The Software & PLC Equipment Engineer will be responsible for Software & PLC maintenance and management of Wafer equipment at the new QCELLS factory in Cartersville, GA. This includes software and PLC improvements for all machines. The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Software & PLC team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
*This position requires to receive training in South Korea for two months. Detailed information will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for tasks related to equipment PLC maintenance.
Manage Backup & Upgrade of new equipment PLC data.
Handle the equipment PLC improvement project progress and management
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of equipment.
Establish PLC Troubleshooting procedures and take measures with training.
Prepare reports for scheduled meetings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Ability to recognize and provide equipment PLC failure analysis is required.
Experience in PLC control configuration and maintenance management is required.
Automation equipment improvement project management skills.
PLC modification and interpretation skills are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical and mechanical engineering, or related engineering fields.
More than 3 years of experience in equipment PLC control development.
Experience in carrying out equipment PLC improvement projects.
Experience or qualifications in the semiconductor or photovoltaic industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred.
