Software Engineer Technical Lead

KBX Technology Solutions, LLC, a provider of transportation technology to industry leaders, is seeking a contribution motivated Software Engineer Tech Lead to join our dynamic integrations team. In this role you will lead the development of functional requirements for our integration solutions by managing the process through analysis, solution design and the documentation phases. You will be an important contributor in helping our development team to timely deliver integration strategic initiatives and goals in our cloud-native environment.

Our Team

In this role you will be a part of our Platform Integration team. This team is responsible for designing and developing integration frameworks and tools that enable other developers and teams to do integrations across our SaaS products and services.

What You Will Do

• L ead the development of functional requirements for our integration solutions by managing the process through analysis, solution design, and the documentation phases.
• Collaborate within, and across teams to create optimized solutions or enhancements to our integration solutions.
• Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders to develop and define technical requirements for customer needs.
• Work with Product Manager to help drive key initiatives, goals and help shape the development road map of our integration solutions.
• Transform stakeholder needs into clear, concise requirements and work with developers to translate into technical design for implementation.
• Conduct review sessions and gain approvals for requirements while managing changes through the project management and development applications.
• Solve problems in a dynamic team environment using strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ensure delivery of technical solutions meet the business outcomes and are developed consistent with software development standards and organizational best practices.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to other Software Engineers as changes and new needs arise.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience communicating and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into a product that aligns with event-driven and microservices principles.
• Experience developing with modern object-oriented development language like C# .NET or Java
• Experience developing in or building software frameworks
• Experience or understanding of SOLID or Clean Code Development Patterns

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in AWS cloud services
• Experience with Event-driven architecture principles
• Experience in Message Queueing Technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Experience developing applications with Docker Containers
• Experience in ORM Framework (Entity Framework, Hibernate, Dapper)
• Experience with unit testing using Jasmine, Jest, or any js/ts unit test framework
• Experience with Transportation or Logistics Applications

For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $160,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
