Form of work ArsenalBio, a privately held, clinical-stage programmable cell therapy company engineering advanced CAR T therapies for solid tumors, is seeking a talented to Software Engineer Intern to work onsite based in our South San Francisco office.
ArsenalBio's mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer. Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.

ArsenalBio is looking for a Software Engineer intern to join our software team for a period of 10-12 weeks. This will be a remote position. Our engineering team is responsible for supporting the efforts of the scientific and computational teams. You will work as part of a cross-functional team to design, develop, and run systems that enable ArsenalBio scientists to perform computation analysis and the collection and indexing of relevant data. Your work will support ArsenalBio's therapeutic research.
What You Will Do:
- Develop front-end applications and backend systems to build software that enabled computational analysis of biological data
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to overcome real-world problems that sometimes can't be solved with software alone
- Work with ArsenalBio computational biologists to enable their analysis
What You Will Bring:
- Graduating between December 2024-June 2026 with a BA/BS, majoring in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrated passion for technology, whether you worked at another tech company, launched an app, or joined your school tech club.
- Experienced with algorithms and design
- Able to pick up languages quickly. We like to use JavaScript, Go, and Python

The estimated base salary offer for the preferred primary location of San Francisco Bay area ranges from $25-$30/hr. Salary ranges for other locations may vary from this range. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, experience, education, and location. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
