OVERVIEW
You are a curious software developer who is dedicated to your craft and solving big problems; you write code that you are proud of and can hit the ground running with support from the team. AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER ON THE AGENT TEAM YOU WILL
- Research, design, develop, and own solutions that provide feature-rich experiences in our Agent application that runs on over 1 million endpoints globally across all three major operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).
- Lead by example by championing software development best practices, and writing well-designed code.
- Extend, enhance, and evolve our endpoint software to enable delivery of new platform and client-side features.
- Contribute to continual improvement by testing, performance tuning, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation.
- Produce detailed specifications, and contribute in all phases of the engineering lifecycle.
- Operate with a quality-first mindset. Your approach to testing sets you apart from your peers.
- Make data-driven decisions. You understand the impact of your development before it reaches production.
ABOUT YOU
- Programming experience in Golang is required. That being said, the right candidate will leverage their extensive engineering background to be impactful in any language.
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-connected client-side applications.
- Experience working as a Software Engineer developing features on an Agent/IoT application is desired.
- Some familiarity with systems programming, networking, virtual machine orchestration, DevOps, and shell-scripting languages (Bash/Powershell)
- Windows and/or Linux and/or MacOS application development experience.
- Excellent communicator, thrives within a tightly knit, cross-functional remote team environment.
$90,000 - $140,000 a year
COMPENSATION
The base range above is part of a rich total compensation package that includes bonus, stock options and benefits. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
