Overview of the Position:
The Software EngineerQuantum ERP Specialist is an experienced and highly skilled Senior ERP Software Support Specialist with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in supporting the Quantum ERP system developed by Component Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure the seamless operation of our ERP system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Quantum ERP System Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Quantum ERP system-related issues.
- Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing inquiries, and resolving technical challenges promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure the effective integration of Quantum within the organization.
Problem Resolution and Troubleshooting
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues related to Quantum ERP system functionality.
- Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to address both software and hardware-related challenges.
- Work closely with development teams to escalate and resolve software bugs or deficiencies.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and end-users.
- Communicate effectively with users at various levels of technical expertise, ensuring a positive support experience.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users on Quantum system features and best practices.
System Enhancement and Optimization
- Collaborate with the development team to suggest improvements and enhancements to the Quantum ERP system based on user feedback and industry best practices.
- Stay current with updates and new releases of Quantum, evaluating their potential impact and implementing upgrades as necessary.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and best practices for Quantum ERP system support.
- Share knowledge and expertise with the support team, contributing to the overall skill development of the department.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Preferred experience with SQL and database experience
- Preferred experience with Oracle
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of Quantum ERP system architecture, modules, and integration points.
- Proficient in SQL queries and database management.
- Familiarity with related technologies such as server environments, networks, and security protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's / associate degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent with 3 years software development experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in providing software support, with a focus on the Quantum ERP system developed by Component Control.
- Relevant certifications in Quantum ERP or related technologies are a plus.
