KBX Technology Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of transportation technology to industry leaders, is in search of a talented and driven Software Engineer to become an integral part of our platform engineering team. Our Team

This role will be part of the Platform team. The Platform is the core foundation that all of our products are built. The engineering team's primary responsibilities are to deploy, monitor, operate, and implement core infrastructure technology to enable our organization to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

What You Will Do

  • Create software solutions that align with established organizational standards, design principles, and industry best practices, while also embracing modernization.
  • Enhance pipeline and deployment practices aimed at optimizing code deployment and releases
  • Assist in deploying, monitoring, and operating core infrastructure technology to ensure the success and reliability of our platform.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance systems that underpin SaaS solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Optimize code and software components for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience leveraging managed services on AWS, Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Experience designing, building, testing and maintaining backend systems using .NET, C# and ASP.NET Core
  • Experience in pipeline management and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience building and optimizing APIs, Microservices and Integrations, REST , XML, GRPC and JSON formats

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience optimizing and fine-tuning deployment pipelines for rapid, reliable software releases.
  • Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Experience working in a microservices architecture, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and with serverless computing.
  • Experience with big data technologies and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Spark).

For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $160,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
