Summary
Anaconda is seeking a talented Software Engineer, Platform Services to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning.
What You'll Do:
- Be a member of our Platform Services team working on Auth, Payment, Email, RBAC services and shared services across Anaconda applications
- Partner with the Anaconda Platform team to help make sure your services run well as container workloads, dependencies stay up to date, and CI/CD is effective.
- Work across teams to plan, build, and deliver software and system changes
- Participate in on-call rotations to support teams and systems
- Apply tests and refactoring to help ensure high levels of quality
- Participate on Slack and in team meetings, reviews, and demos
What You Need:
- 2+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, Web Services, and DevOps
- Auth, IAM, RBAC, or Payment web service experience (Stripe, OAuth, SpiceDB)
- Experience with async Python and Go frameworks like FastAPI, GraphQL, and uvicorn
- GitOps mindset with a desire to reduce toil and automate everything
- Experience provisioning, securing, connecting, and running applications
- Examples of test automation, linting, and refactoring in your prior work
- Experience using IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD)
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile or remote environment
- Results-driven, "self-starter" approach to your work
