Tesla is seeking an awesome Automation Engineer to develop methods to simulate vehicle, environmental and user behaviors at system-level to guide future product development and raise the quality of existing firmware releases. Work in a creative automation lab environment with a team dedicated to building software, hardware and mechanical solutions to automate system-level tests.
The ideal candidate is an expert in Python, system-level troubleshooting, automation tools, hardware debug/design and firmware development.
Focus areas include Low Voltage Network Management, Lithium-Ion and Lead-Acid Battery Management, Functional Safety Concepts, Security and Authentication and Body Controls (falcon wings, power front doors, other vehicle mechatronics).
