TITLE: Software Engineer Intern
DIVISION: Kyocera Document Solutions Development
DEPARTMENT: Software Applications Development, 78
LOCATION: Concord, California
FLSA STATUS: Non- Exempt
POSITION REPORTS TO: Department Manager
RATE: $21/hr
Support the development, design, testing, and maintenance of software applications. Work under the guidance of experienced engineers and support the team in various software development tasks.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
- Participate in code reviews and testing activities.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and debugging of software applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C/C++.
- Familiar with software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile and Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Essential Physical Functions:
- Occasional lifting of computer, monitor, or small printer no heavier than 40 pounds.
