Software Engineer Ii

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is searching for a full time Software Engineer II in San Diego, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyze, and implement Cybersecurity (CS)/CSTA processes
• Develop processes for CS reviews during Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), Platform Technical Review Board (PTRB) reviews, Engineering Change Request (ECR) reviews, and Ship Change Document (SCD) reviews.
• Perform CS reviews during SETR, PTRB reviews, ECR reviews, and SCD reviews
• Perform cybersecurity testing and analysis to identify Cybersecurity vulnerabilities on a broad range of NSS and DBS systems to include non-traditional IS, combat/weapon systems, shipboard aviation systems, HM&E, ICS/NCS, SCADA and special-purpose networks.
• Perform security engineering testing and analysis to include but not be limited to STIG, SCAP scans, ACAS Scans, HBSS, penetration testing, software assurance, etc.
• Review and track cybersecurity information including exploitation analysis, and threat analysis IAW documents
• Identify and document attack vectors and prioritize cyber technical risk IAW documents
• Conduct threat and risk assessments and analyses, and provide threat and risk reports and briefings
• Perform threat assessment and modeling, attack surface analysis, and architecture and design reviews
• Perform static and dynamic code analysis, and compliance validation
• Perform risk assessments, create risk assessment documents such as a SAR and provide risk mitigation recommendations
• Coordinate with units to determine appropriate training/support areas
• Reference existing documentation and tools to advise units on how they can improve their cyber posture while maintaining system baselines
• Provide standardized reports based on metrics and analysis

Work toward automation of metric collection, import, and export
Required Skills/Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Web application development using Java, Agile environment; scripting; development experience within MS Office applications such as Excel
• 6+ years of experience with Secure Web App development (per RMF, software assurance requirements)
• 2+ years of experience Defense-in-Depth Functional Implementation Architecture (DFIA)/ Defense-in-Depth Functional Implementation Architecture Network Transformation (DFIANT) implementation/development
• Understanding of CSTA standards and Navy Cyber Situational Awareness (NCSA)
• IAT Level I certification
• Certified Develeloper in Java or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
• TS/SCI clearance preferred; TS with SCI eligibility required.
• BS required; MS preferred; experience may be credited to replace the degree requirement.
