Job Summary
Qualtech Systems Inc. (QSI) is looking to hire a US Citizen as a Software Engineer – a position that requires a strong technical background in the area of engineering software design and development. Primarily, the candidate shall have demonstrable strong software programming skills using Python 2.x/ 3.x, C/C++/C# and Java as well as web software development. Solid foundation in J2EE/Jakarta EE is preferred. Successful applicants will be good team-players and participate in our Agile software development process. Familiarity with Git/GitHub and other VCS and VS Code tools desired. Additionally, good communication skills, ability to independently develop and understand software requirements and code them into software modules are desired.
Fresh STEM graduates with relevant experience will be considered for Software Engineer I position.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable web solutions as part of QSI’s TEAMS® engineering software products.- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using cutting-edge technologies.
- Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and security of applications.
- Contribute to UX/UI designs and implement scalable and performant user- interfaces.
- Work with QSI project team members through development, testing, and delivery of the product or service
Qualifications
- Demonstrable track record in designing and developing software applications with a strong focus on web technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited US university
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Experience with front back-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Flask, or Ruby on Rails).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Working knowledge of desktop application development, web application development, database programming (SQL and NoSQL), agile software development methodologies are considered a plus.
Salary
$55,000 - $90,000 per year
