Software Engineer - Healthcare
Why We Have This Role
As a Software Development Engineer on the Healthcare team, you would apply your distributed-systems knowledge, familiarity with full-stack development, databases, various storage-engines, and web-services design and implementation to build premier software and services. Qualtrics is set to disrupt traditional Healthcare through Patient Experience.

- Develop familiarity with containerization and full-stack development
- Understand the critical use cases of healthcare programs, learn what it means to support enterprise level clients
- Learn to implement new functionality from provided requirements and specifications

Things You’ll Do
- Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple solutions to solve complex business problems
- Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance
- Develop features through a mix of backend services and front end development
- Join oncall rotation and resolve customer issues
- Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from other specialists, tech-ops, and product managers
- Attend project review and operation review meetings, document daily report, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant major
- Experience with software architecture and distributed systems
- Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
- Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
- Experience with Software Engineering standard methodologies (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design document)

The Healthcare product line is the enabler of that disruption. Some of the things you would work on in this team are connecting patient experience data to electronic healthcare records, regulatory healthcare survey programs and Magnet reporting. We believe in letting our teams choose the stack on each project, allowing engineers to experiment and learn new, up and coming technologies like Python, MySQL, React, Node.js, JavaScript, DevOps and Kubernetes or its equivalent.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. For part-time or intern positions, this pay range is for base pay per hour. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.

$87,500—$165,000 USD
