Job Description
We are seeking a java Developer with a minimum of three years of industry experience to join our team supporting operations of the federal employee claims vouchering process. The Federal Programs Post Adjudication (PAV) team is responsible for the processing of claims for our internal and external plan vendors. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of supporting the various program modules that support the claims voucher and reporting process. We are a seeking a self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as participating on a small team. This individual will apply analytical and problem-solving skills to assist with identifying, communicating, and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
* Proven strong technical and project leadership with the ability to lead a team of developers in all phases of the SDLC. Strong background on multi-platform system integrations. Excellent object oriented analysis and design patterns/techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology.
Requirements:
* Application performance tuning skills
* Software development best practices (RUP, XP, Agile)
* Excellent analytical, planning and communication skill sets
* Software architecture design background is preferred
" Provide oriented analysis and design patterns/techniques with emphasis on the latest Java technology
" Produce high quality detail design documents, coding, code review and unit testing
" Provide insight into software development best practices and lifecycle
" Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
" Solid Java hands on experience, including detail design, coding and unit testing
" Java, JDBC, Hibernate and JMS
" XML, XSLT; XML conversion between different XML Schemas
" Service Data Objects (SDO) is a plus
" Spring, XML parser technology, Test NG, J Mockit, Gradle
" Spring batch
" Ava Open-Source technologies including Experience with software development best practices and lifecycle

" Experience with Oracle and SQL
