WompHealth, a subsidiary of DexCare, is seeking a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer (Backend focused) will be responsible for interfacing with clients and working with our proprietary platform to develop websites and app. If you are an experienced Software Engineer who is excited about getting in on the ground floor of a fast-growing startup with a well-established team and multiple large and respected clients, this might be the opportunity for you!
As an engineer in this role, you will be a key part of building out solutions from the ground-up. You will contribute to the full breadth of the codebase. Every engineer should be prepared to interact daily with other engineers, as well as product managers, product designers, and solution architects.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional development experience
- Proficient in C# and Node.js, bonus points for also having production Python experience
- Experience creating high-traffic web APIs, preferably hosted as Azure App Services and Azure Functions
- Experience maintaining MS SQL and Azure SQL databases
- Strong understanding of HTTP request and response headers (e.g. CORS, CSP, Caching, Cookies)
- Version control using git and code reviews using GitHub PRs
- Knowledge of best practices for securing Azure cloud services
- Scrum development using Jira ticketing
- CI/CD using GitHub workflows
- Experience implementing authentication in web services (OIDC, Microsoft Identity)
- An appreciation for well-documented code, linting, and unit tests
- Familiarity with OpenAPI specification to validate APIs and create documentation
- Familiarity with OData queries

$70,000 - $105,000 a year
The salary range for this role is from $70,000 to $105,000. The hired applicant will also be eligible to receive an annual bonus.Your health and well-being ensure that we all perform at our best as a team.
