Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Software Development Engineering Internto join the Lighting Sector Kenall Team in Kenosha, WI. In this role, you will collaborate with our senior designers on assignments and learn to apply software automation projects to a real-world factory environment.
What Will You Do?
- Design automated test system software for functional validation of new products in the manufacturing process.
- Document designs and follow software version control best practices.
- Debugging and testing code.
- Application of core concepts such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Compile and analyze factory test data using analytical software (Excel, MiniTab, Etc).
- Acts as quality ambassador responsible for promoting and maintaining use of Legrand Way manufacturing excellence system.
Required Skills
- BSEE / BSSE / BSCS.
- Junior or Senior Level in Coursework.
- Ability to analyze and report data.
- Experience in C/C++/C#, LabView, and/or similar Software Platforms.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Highly developed analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
