As a Software Development Engineer in Test you will be an advocate for world-class quality, driving best practices for automated testing while assisting with architecture and development for the software engineering organization. You'll have a dedicated leader focused on your individual growth and development and will work on a collaborative engineering team with opportunities to share in mentoring and coaching.

Our primary programming language is PHP, using the Laravel framework. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can own development and testing for their teams and thrive in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an SDET
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and popular associated frameworks, i.e. Laravel, Eloquent Queries, Alpine, LiveWire, Bootstrap, ES6
• Experience with Vue.js preferred
• Solid web application troubleshooting experience
• Experience with automated testing using Pest, Dusk, PHPUnit, or similar tools
• Experience with manual and exploratory testing
• Experience with web app/website performance tests
• Experience working with microservices and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL, MySQL
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with DevOps, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)

Qualifications:

• Able to work independently on assigned tasks within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision making
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including good technical writing and interpersonal skills
• Open to being mentored, give/receive constructive criticism
• Motivated to learn new technologies
• Excellent ability to mentor others

Education and Years of Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an SDET
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $81,400 -- $220,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
