Duties: Analyze current business practices, processes, and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics Services. Provide technical leadership and thought leadership as a senior member of the data analytics practice in areas such as data access & ingestion, data processing, data integration, data modelling, database design & implementation and advanced analytics. Collaborate with project managers for project/sprint planning by estimating technical tasks and deliverables. Assess existing technical environments and develop recommendations for continuous improvements. Improve the performance of various long running, business critical jobs to meet or overperform against defined SLA. Deliver solutions to complex multi-platform projects operating in waterfall and agile project management environments. Develop best practices including reusable code, libraries, patterns, and consumable frameworks for cloud-based data warehousing and ETL. Design and implement high performance data ingestion & transformation pipelines from multiple sources using Azure data factory, Snowflake Stored procedures and Databricks. Use practical understanding of Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational) concepts such as Star-Schema Modeling, Snowflake Schema Modeling, SCD (Slowly Changing Dimension), Fact and Dimension tables to integrate the end-to-end data pipeline to take data from source systems to target data repositories ensuring the quality and consistency of data is always maintained. Develop and maintain data lake and data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures, and relational/non-relational databases for data access and advanced analytics. Deliver data warehouse and analytic solutions by ingesting, integrating, and curating data to deliver information to the business and stakeholders. Build ETL (Extract Transform Load) applications with Azure cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, and five (5) years of experience working as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related position.
Experience must include: Cloud Tools & Technologies: Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or similar cloud tools; ETL Tool: Informatica PowerCenter; Relational Databases: Oracle, SQL Server; SQL Server Languages & Scripting: Unix Shell Scripting, Python; Agile Management Tool: VersionOne or similar agile tool; and Putty, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, PyCharm, ServiceNow or similar tools.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
