We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software applications that meet customer requirements. Duties
- Design, develop, and test software applications using industry best practices
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Debug and resolve software defects
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#)
Preferred
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and best practices
- Experience with the .NET platform.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and SSMS
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

The pay is 57,500 to start during the onboarding process. A significant raise will be given once employee is familiar with the codebase. This role is fully remote with the exception of 1-2 monthly in-person meetings in Chicago, IL.
