This is a full-time, direct placement role at AccuBuild Construction Software.

Position Overview: As a Software Configuration Analyst specializing in payroll for construction, you will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and optimizing our software solution to meet the unique payroll needs of construction companies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that our software aligns seamlessly with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuration Management: Customize and configure software solutions to meet the specific payroll requirements of construction companies. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conversion and Onboarding: Work directly with clients to transform legacy payroll system data into the new construction payroll service. Map data from legacy systems, configure new system to meet needs and integrate data with the client's accounting system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, project managers, and clients to understand payroll needs and implement services. Conduct regular reviews and consultations with stakeholders to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of payroll regulations and compliance standards within the construction industry. Implement and maintain configurations that align with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of configured payroll modules to identify and address any issues. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure software meets high standards of performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for configurations, ensuring that all changes are well-documented and easily accessible for reference.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Software Configuration Analyst with a focus on payroll in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction payroll processes and regulations.
  • Proficient in configuration management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
