Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree and fourteen (14) years of experience; four (4) years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of Degree.
Experience:
- Five (5) years of experience in C4ISR related programs to include: Systems Analysis, Software Development and Integration, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
- Ten (10) years of technical experience in network, system architecture, and the interoperability of USMC intelligence system collection and analysis platform, development, testing, and implementation of requirements, specific product and systems. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Experience with integration and configuration of applications in a Linux, CentOS, RHEL environment.
- Ability to load Operating Systems.
- Experience in creating and deploying applications.
- Experience with Kubernetes or other containerization background.
- Common Firmware Environment (CFE) experience.
- Matlab and RaptorX experience.
- Python, Java, and Golang experience.
- Secret Security Clearance required; must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance to maintain employment.
Additional Qualifications Preferred:
Individual should have work experience and knowledge of the following technical areas:
- Systems and/or Software Engineering experience on a government software development contract.
- Experience with software development, installation, and integration activities.
- Experience in requirements management.
- Experience in CONOPS / OPSCON development.

Job Description:
VNE is seeking a Software Architect to support the research & development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programs.
The Software Architect provides system and software engineering expertise and support in one or more of the following areas:
- Design, development, test and integration of software systems/applications;
- Coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process;
- Interacting with other engineering groups to identify functional and performance requirements for application programs, assess software issues/defects, resolve problems and develop solutions;
- Performing requirements analysis and management;
- Conducting market surveys and assessing new technologies;
- Coordinating with program stakeholders for the successful execution of software development programs; and/or
- Establishing and maintaining RMF policies and processes, conducting system and software cybersecurity, and maintaining the security accreditation for systems and software.
Essential Duties of the Job:
