Job Title: Clinical Social Worker LCSW
Duration: 3-month contract (conversion to permanent, possible)
Location: 1500 E Duarte Rd Duarte, CA 91010
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm

Job Description:

• Administers social service programs and provides clinical social work services to clients or patients and their families.
• Counsels and provides crisis intervention for clients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
• Coaching clients on how to manage ongoing mental health conditions and provides therapy to help them make positive behavior changes.
• Aids clients, including individuals, families, or groups, easing them through transitions, hardships, and mentally hard times.
• Researches and assists them in finding the proper resources to get the care they need to sustain a certain quality of life.
• The CSW is responsible for employing a model of patient care that focuses on providing patients/caregivers with supportive counseling, psychosocial assessments, therapeutic interventions, education, and community resource support information. Temp will work in medical oncology/surgery social work team.

Minimum Qualifications:

•  3-5 years of experience providing medical social work services
• Master’s degree in social work (MSW)
• Registered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
