Social Services Director

Job description

As a Social Services Director, your role is to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct social service programs at the facility in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, as well as our established policies and procedures, to assure that medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.

• Must have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in social work or a bachelor’s degree in a human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology
• Must have, as a minimum, 2 years of supervised social work experience in a skilled nursing/ long term care setting working directly with individuals.
• Must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
