Posting Summary
Collaboratively design and implement, an array of Social Sciences Research projects and program evaluations with clients and with oversight from CRS research coordinators. Utilize various software packages to collect, analyze, write up and present research findings for a variety of audiences.
Work directly with project clients across sectors including business, government, academic and the non-profit sectors locally, across Vermont, the Northeast and other regions, nationally and internationally.
Apply technical skills and experience to facilitate clients’ knowledge development across diverse subject-matter including- but not limited to- community development, agriculture, tourism, economics, workforce, and health & wellbeing.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelors degree in a related field (including but not limited to- community development, sociology, statistics, economics) and/or three to five years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain.
Desirable Qualifications
Master’s level education or equivalent experience in statistics, Social Sciences, survey research, or similar subjects. Public speaking.
Other Information
Occasional evening and/or weekends required, Travel to and from worksites required.
Special Conditions
Contingent on continued funding, Travel to and from worksites required, Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
