Position Summary:

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for content leadership program of Allsup and Allsup Employment Services’ Social Media channels, with an emphasis on communications strategies (paid and organic) to enhance and expand its positive engagement with potential and current customers, the disability community and key influencers.

This includes creating compelling content that supports business growth and fosters digital objectives to improve SEO, ensure high brand awareness and drive referrals to the company’s services to targeted audiences nationwide. In addition, this role is primary backup for the Digital Advertising Specialist, providing paid advertising and Google analytics support, including campaign performance and assessment for Digital Marketing. Additional role as liaison for disability groups (Strategic Alliances) with an emphasis on digital content campaigns and sponsorships to boost national (plus local and regional) visibility.

This digital creative position requires development and execution of high-quality content adapted and distributed across Social Media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram), and capability of handling paid advertising initiatives. Includes managing customer reviews, e-communication (direct messages, live chat, customer posts), supporting organic campaigns (PR, blogs, videos), and web-based events.

In addition, the position is responsible for identifying and managing opportunities to engage consumers and affiliate and referral partners (i.e., disability groups) through Social Media communities, digital events (webinars, FB live, etc.) and sponsorships; and supporting efforts to grow the Allsup consumer business through organic and owned digital media. Works closely within Marketing Communications and agency teams to ensure content and marketing objectives (paid and organic) are achieved across all channels, and with Human Resources to support employee engagement.

Reports to the Director of Digital Media (Digital Marketing team). Works closely with Marketing, Customer Service/Operations, and Human Resources.

  3. Lead paid Social Media advertising, including campaign setup and monitoring, plus reporting.
  4. Support Google analytics for digital advertising, including campaign performance, analyzing metrics and KPIs, as needed, to assist with paid advertising initiatives.
  5. Manage Social Media platforms and owned assets, including monitoring and responding to audiences on all Social Media channels, plus customer reviews, platforms such as Google Review, Trustpilot, Yelp, and others.
  6. Grow Allsup’s Social Media audience and engagement for key demographics.
  7. Develop and manage regular reporting. Includes reports based on web analytics and social listening tools to measure campaign performance, analyze metrics and KPIs to track progress and impact on business results.
  8. Ensure customer service and brand consistency through review, design and enhancements across Social Media channels, including collaborative initiatives, adopting Social Media channel upgrades (e.g., platform specs, format changes, etc.), and aligned with digital marketing/design/content marketing strategies.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with disability and advocacy groups on behalf of the company. Includes identifying and developing engagement activities, such as membership benefit plans, online events and webinars, content exchanges and joint PR opportunities.
  10. Foster and develop programs that support SEO, drive brand awareness, generate visits and leads, and further public understanding of SSDI and federal programs, as well as company products and services.
