Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facebook Messenger/Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our Facebook Messenger communications, including responding to incoming inquiries, revisiting older chats by inviting users to join our mailing list, and posting new content across our Social Media channels. This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills, proficiency in Social Media management, and a deep understanding of Facebook functionalities and best practices.
Duties:
- Monitor and manage communications through Facebook Messenger, ensuring timely and professional responses to all inquiries.
- Re-engage past conversations by inviting participants to subscribe to our mailing list, enhancing our community engagement.
- Collaborate with our content team to schedule and post new ads, posts, and listings across Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Implement copy-pasting of provided content efficiently, maintaining accuracy and brand consistency.
- Stay updated with Facebook's evolving features and algorithms to optimize our messaging strategies and improve audience reach.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the team based on performance metrics and interaction trends.
Experience:
- Proven experience in Social Media management, with a strong emphasis on Facebook Messenger and Facebook Marketplace.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that resonate with our target audience.
- Familiarity with Instagram and LinkedIn, capable of managing multiple Social Media platforms seamlessly.
- A deep understanding of Social Media algorithms, engagement strategies, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain a high level of organization.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- High level of proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses at least 2-3 years of experience specializing in Social Media management, particularly on Facebook.
- Is a Facebook expert, knowledgeable about all its features, from Messenger to Marketplace, and everything in between.
- Demonstrates a track record of increasing engagement and converting interactions into tangible outcomes, like mailing list sign-ups or sales.
