Vitalist Food is an elevated nutritional cuisine company established in 2017 that has undergone 7 years of R+D in California. The Founder created Vitalist and its extensive variety of unique products from her many years as a chef at acclaimed restaurants and as a private chef to Hollywood celebrities.
We are launching a new restaurant concept on Lake Minnetonka, focusing on hot drinks, superfoods, and special dining experiences.
We are also offering 3rd party delivery from this location and retailing wellness products.
We are looking for someone excited to grow with an early-stage startup in the food and wellness industry. This person will be working directly with the Founder & Managing Partner. The business is at a moment where the right person can build a long-term career within the company as we go through fundraising.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management, Sales Growth, and Marketing Funnels across all platforms, including
- Digital Content Creation for the website, Social Media and marketing materials based on the existing Vitalist Design Strategy and Brand Style Guide.
- Keeping the voice of the brand synonymous across all platforms while keeping it fresh and relevant.
- Graphic design and photography/video editing for TikTok, YouTube, IG, FB, Pinterest.
- Tasks include: adjusting online platforms, graphic design, graphic web design, Social Media scheduling on planoly, taking photographs, writing copy, writing newsletters, reaching out to other to create an enhanced Social Media position, a building our YouTube channel, cookbook layout, and updated packaging.
- Possible Additional Project: Building the Vitalist training content and library for the restaurant and shop with the Founder and Chef.
- Additional projects may be added based on need, availability or interest.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has an interest in plant-based foods and wellness.
- Shows up consistently in person.
- Understands quick direction and is flexible to changes in day-to-day tasks.
- Has good communication and computer/presentation skills.
- Adapts to the needs of an evolving restaurant and retail business.
- Is comfortable working with people and strong personalities.
- Enjoys photography and Social Media, and is savvy with photo/video editing on mobile devices.
- Is able to run errand, be at promotional events, or take on creative projects not listed above.
- Has a wide scope of skills that support Social Media/website management, photography and video, graphic design (with competence in graphic tools such as Adobe Creative Suite).
- A background in nutrition or marketing is a bonus.
Experience:
- Social Media Management: 1 year (Required)
- Photography: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Creative Suite or Figma/Canva: 1 year (Desired)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
