The Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Coordinator will instruct and assist school staff and parents by promoting a positive school climate through supporting the social and emotional growth of all elementary students. As a part of the multi-tiered system of support, the SEL Coordinator will coach staff on school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports as well as coordinating Tier II and Tier III interventions and supports.
Education and Experience

• Valid State of Illinois Administrative or Teaching certificate or Type 73 School Support Personnel Endorsement
• Valid State of Illinois license in the area(s) of elementary education, special education, social work, counseling, psychology, or ABA therapy
• Master's degree in related field preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience, working with students with intensive Social Emotional needs preferred
