Organizational Unit Overview:The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, one of only four academic Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine programs in North Carolina offering a three-year fellowship, has a broad-based faculty with interests and expertise in all aspects of the specialty including, outpatient consultative care, Medical Critical Care, and all procedural aspects of the specialty, including interventional pulmonology and medical thoracoscopy.
Job Duties :Coordinates and conducts all phases of Clinical Research for the division. Assess and prioritize information and requests related to overall project responsibilities and facilitates completion of divisional research goals. Coordinate quality assurance reviews monitoring of project specific collaborations. Oversees the daily management of study patients to ensure that we follow the given protocol. Ensures study compliance with a high quality of data being collected, reported, and recorded. Demonstrates a sound understanding of each divisional project. Assists with duties including but not limited to: training and all Clinical Research programs, clinical trial protocols, IRB submissions, and RAMSES. Organizes and manages multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal assistance according to given protocols. Communicates with faculty and staff to accomplish goals. Responds and completes research and clinical requests for information and attends investigator meetings and educational conferences as appropriate.
Minimum Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
