Recruitment and Sales Coordinator
Region: Soccer Shots Central Indiana


Soccer Shots: Soccer Shots Central Indiana is a fast growing, intro-to-soccer program offered throughout the Central Indiana area. Through relationships established with private childcare centers, in addition to public park programs, Soccer Shots Central Indiana is currently serving over 8,000 children, between the ages of 2 and 8, each year. Our motivation is to impact children in both soccer education and character development with application to all areas of childrens lives. We are motivated by a desire to see children experience the game of soccer and to enjoy the rewards that participation in the game offers. Our mission is simple: to positively impact childrens lives through the game of soccer.
Job Description: The objective of this position is to support and empower the Soccer Shots coaching staff so that, through their best-in class soccer instruction, our vision of positively impacting children is achieved. The Recruitment and Sales Coordinator is responsible for setting an example in areas of personal character, commitment, communication, and work ethic. This position requires following established plans and strategies to strengthen the current business, expand the Soccer Shots footprint throughout Central Indiana, and expand the Soccer Shots coach bench. This person demonstrates excellent customer service through both professional and timely communication. They are highly organized, caring, patient, positive, and committed to helping people reach their potential.
Responsibilities:
  • Seek and establish strategic partnership opportunities, which include public park program locations, soccer club partnerships, corporate sponsors, colleges, and universities.
  • Identify sales leads and attain new accounts.
  • Network with candidate resources (colleges, online networks, community events, career fairs).
  • Responsible for marketing strategy and lead generation for coach applications.
  • Lead interview and screening process for new hires.
  • Collaborate with Director of Coaching regarding hiring decisions (following second stage of interview process).
  • Generate brand awareness across the company.
  • Collaborate with Soccer Shots directors and fellow coordinators regarding season planning and improvement of program quality.
  • Coach up to 8 sessions per week and will fill-in, when necessary.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
The job description above is a full-time, exempt position. Some times of the year may be busier and require more work, while other times will be slower and require less work. Typical/expected working hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:00am to 7:00pm (may also include weekday evenings or weekend mornings depending on interview scheduling). This is a full-time and salaried position. Minimum of 40 hours a week is required. Functions in a temperature controlled, office environment the majority of the time. The standard office environment has moderate noise levels associated with computer equipment, customers and phone conversations. Work requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout an extended work day (8-10 hours); position requires use of fingers, hands, and arms on a consistent basis for keyboarding and phone work.
This position also functions in an inside/outside sports environment. Work requires ability to run, stop, stoop, and bend (a physical, exercise type regimen) in a minimum of 40-minute increments per session. The position requires use of hands, arms, legs, and feet and may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Moderate gymnasium-like noises are associated with this position as well as excellent vision skills (with or without correction). This position will require, at times, the ability to yell and loudly project the voice for up to 40-minute increments per session. This position also requires driving throughout the Central Indiana Area.
Key Performance Measurables:
  • Prompt, reliable, and professional communication. Responds immediately to coaches, customers (potential and current program partners), supervisor, potential hires, and other support staff within 12 hours.
  • Meets weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develops and follows systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with time.
  • Meets or exceeds yearly sales and enrollment goals (number of locations to be added each year and number of children to be served each year)
  • Meets seasonal performance goals (scorecard, and quarterly rock completion, etc) Goes above and beyond expectations to promote the Soccer Shots brand.
  • 80% green scorecard and 80% rock completion each quarter.
  • Adheres to all company policies and represents Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity.
  • Adheres to budget guidelines.
  • Runs A level classes.
Compensation/Additional Benefits:
  • $50,000-65,000 per year (DOE).
  • Remarkables Bonuses $10 per remarkable (positive parent/director comment where employee/coach is identified by name). May come from NPS results, parent/director emails or phone calls, etc.
  • Additional bonus potential at discretion of owners.
  • Paid holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Holiday and New Years (12/23 1/2).
  • Personal days: 8 days per year (does not accrue or carry over). Vacations must be approved 6-8 weeks in advance of the season they are taken in. Vacations during the off-season are preferred.
  • Sick days: 5 days per year (does not accrue or carry over).

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a company recruiter/staffing manager.
  • Sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with staff and supervisors.
  • Strong communicative and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written (strong understanding of proper grammar).
  • Effective organizational and administrative skills.
