Grand Harbor is hiring a weekend Snack Bar Attendant. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service when preparing food and drinks in a snackbar setting.
Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:
- Greets members, takes food orders and prepares food.
- Provides information about menu items.
- Operates cash register and receives payment, ensuring that correct member account is charged.
- Cleans and stocks work area, ensuring that Snack Bar is ready for the next day before end of shift.
- Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed.
- Receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies.
- Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products.
- Clean and sanitizes work station and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to interact with the members and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
- Have advanced knowledge of beers and wines in a bar setting.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.
- Must be able to lift and/or push objects weighing over 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entirety of shift.
Credentials And Experience
- Must have at least one year of customer service with food preparation experience.
- Experience in a country club or hotel environment is preferred.
