Snack Bar Attendant

Grand Harbor is hiring a weekend Snack Bar Attendant. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service when preparing food and drinks in a snackbar setting.

Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:

• Greets members, takes food orders and prepares food.
• Provides information about menu items.
• Operates cash register and receives payment, ensuring that correct member account is charged.
• Cleans and stocks work area, ensuring that Snack Bar is ready for the next day before end of shift.
• Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed.
• Receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies.
• Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products.
• Clean and sanitizes work station and equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to interact with the members and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Have advanced knowledge of beers and wines in a bar setting.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Must have strong communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.
• Must be able to lift and/or push objects weighing over 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entirety of shift.

Credentials And Experience

• Must have at least one year of customer service with food preparation experience.
• Experience in a country club or hotel environment is preferred.
