Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ITSM Implementation Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions to enhance our organization's IT processes. This role requires expertise in ITSM frameworks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

1. ITSM Solution Design and Architecture:

   • Design and architect ITSM solutions based on organizational requirements and industry best practices.
   • Develop detailed technical documentation for ITSM implementations.

2. Configuration and Customization:

   • Configure OpenText Service Management (SMAX) tool to align with IT processes and workflows.
   • Customize ITSM solutions to meet specific business needs, ensuring optimal functionality.

3. Integration:

   • Integrate ITSM tools with other IT systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow.
   • Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement and maintain integrations.

4. Process Automation:

   • Implement automation solutions to streamline IT processes within the ITSM framework.
   • Utilize scripting and coding skills for process automation where required.

5. User Training and Support:

   • Provide training to end-users and IT staff on ITSM tools and processes.
   • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for ITSM-related issues.

6. Continuous Improvement:

   • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in ITSM processes.
   • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ITSM.

7. Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
   • Work closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure successful ITSM implementations.

8. Security and Compliance:

   • Implement ITSM solutions with a focus on security best practices.
   • Ensure ITSM implementations comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing SMAX solution.
• In-depth knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
