Job Description
The Small Group Retention Consultantis responsible for retaining existing HAP Small Group renewal customers, by working with our agency partners. The Small Group Retention Consultantplays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
· Client Relationship Management
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of agents.
· Regularly communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide timely solutions.
· Renewal Management
· Oversee the policy renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate renewals.
· Review and adjust existing renewals as needed to meet changing client requirements.
· Provide open enrollment support.
· Problem Resolution and Advisory Services
· Provide expert advice on suitable renewal solutions.
· Administrative Duties
· Perform administrative tasks related to client accounts, including documentation and record-keeping.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
· Team Collaboration
· Work collaboratively with other departments to provide comprehensive service.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental strategies.
· Professional Development
· Stay informed of industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes.
· Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
· Proven experience in customer service or retention, preferably in the health insurance industry
· Strong understanding of health insurance policies and regulations
· Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in MS Office
· Valid State of Michigan Health and Life license, within 90 days of employment
