Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. A full-time position will be available as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

- Maintain the general ledger and perform general ledger accounting tasks

- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

- Assist with tax preparation and filing

- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks

- Perform 10-key typing for data entry purposes

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices

- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage or Quicken

- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping

- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies

- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles

- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations effectively

- Proficient in using 10-key typing for data entry purposes
