As a Track Supervisor/ Attraction Operator, you’ll provide top tier guest service while providing smiles and memories for all guests . You will ensure excellent guest service by responding to and exceeding their requirements, expectations and needs. In all you do, you will consistently practice safe work habits. Ensuring guest and employee safety is our top priority. You will be working primarily at Thunder Road Speedway, NE Ohio's Longest Recitational Go Kart Track. Athletic, fast thinking, and outgoing personalities encouraged. This job is outdoors and requires attention to detail, as operators will manage races of over 15 cars plus tend other rides, attractions, and events in the park area. Its the perfect summer job and part time work. Positions available for individuals seeking full time 35+ hrs a week

You will also:

• Monitor rides, following all safety regulations
• Test equipment before opening ride
• Ensure guests meet ride safety requirements
• Assist in loading and unloading guests from ride
• Maintain area cleanliness
• Maintain guest safety
• Answer guest questions and advise them on show times and park attractions
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Report unsafe situations

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 16 years of age
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities
• A commitment to great customer service
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs and be outside for at least 2 hours
• Critical Thinking Skills and MOST IMPORTANTLY A GREAT SMILE!

Pay range based on availability, skill set prior, prior work experience, and performance. All employees are offered the equal opportunity to succeed and demonstrate their strengths through training in group and individualized trainings

Seasonal employees are eligible for free park admission for selves and friends in addition to bonus benefits for successful completion of season, up to over $1000 in bonuses (details provided at orientation)

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
