Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Slot Machine Attendant to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Slot Machine Attendant, you will work on the gaming floor, contributing to a successful gaming operation by providing maintenance of floor equipment and assisting gaming guests as needed.
Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Southland Casino Racing, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 1,500 slot machines, live blackjack, craps and roulette tables, live greyhound racing and simulcast wagering. Southland is located in West Memphis, Arkansas, only a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
- Monitor slot machines, changing and fixing ticket paper as needed.
- Perform adjustments to slot machines, resolving problems such as jams or machine tilts, and performs minor repairs contacting repair technician or supervisor for assistance as needed.
- Record the specifics of malfunctioning machines and documents malfunctions needing repair.
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure that players are following rules, machines are functioning correctly, and assist guests.
- Processes jackpot payouts in accordance with Delaware North and state gaming procedures.
- Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately handle large sums of money.
- Basic slot machine knowledge preferred.
- Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of shift.
- Manual dexterity to handle machine function and repairs.
- Ability to push and pull chairs in and out.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Exposure to secondhand smoke and moderate to high noise levels at times.
