- Read construction sheet and customer requirement sheets fully to meet customer requirements.
- Must have slitter specific experience.
- Monitor slitter equipment to ensure material is cut according tot he customer requirements and material meets Quality Control requirements.
- Inspect rolls to be coated, inspect for broken needles and buildup of felt.
- Inspect roll after they have been coated for quality defects.
- Assist coworkers in machine setups and in wrapping material.
- Inspect material during the cutting process, monitor slit width, label products and clean machine parts as necessary.
- Participate in making necessary repairs to material and completing relevant paperwork in order to keep correct documentation of records.
- Participate in reporting out of spec material to Quality Control Department and any quality problems to Supervisor immediately.
