Slitter Set-Up/Helper Highlights

Slitter Set-Up/Helper Responsibilities:
- Change slitter heads for job change over
- Setup overarm on re-coiler according to work order
- Enter accurate information into computer
- Setup slitter for accurate slitting according to work order
- Spot and determine possible visual defects
- Setup for burr free slitting
- Load and unload rolls on a slitter
- Keep machine and surrounding area safe and clean
Slitter Set-Up/helper Requirements:
- 2 years or more of slitter help or slitter operator experience
- Ability to operate a forklift (as needed)
- Experience running an overhead crane
- Ability to use and read micrometer, caliper, and tape measure
- Strong reading, writing, mathematical, and computer knowledge
- Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check
