Currently seeks motivated employees to help operate production machinery that is critical for making cloth. You will be shown the area with more description during an interview.
Job Objective:
Works with Slasher Leader and Slasher Tender to accomplish all aspects of the slashing process
- Obtain full section beam, haul to and position at slasher creel move empty section beam to storage rack and place in proper place on rack
- Doff full warps from slasher and place empty beam in slasher
- Record production information and make out ticket
- Haul full warp beams to storage rack and return with empty
- Weigh slasher waste, push to waste house and place in proper container
- Clean slasher at set out
- Lease ends
- Assist lay ends in expansion comb
- Patrol and inspect for quality
- Cut laps off rolls and beams
- Must be able to use overhead hoist to haul warps weighing up to 1500 lbs
- Must be able to climb and use a ladder
- Must be able to push waste buggies weighing up to 900 lbs
- Must be able to work safely around hot steam and liquid
- Must be able to work in temperatures slightly above the comfort zone
- Must be able to sweep and keep work area clean and organized
- Must be able to work safely around moving parts
- Must be able to read basic written instructions
- Must be able to write legibly
- Must be able to perform simple math
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Must be able to wear ear plugs, respirator/dust mask, goggles/eye protection, and other protective pieces of equipment.
- Must be able to meet Plant schedules and attendance requirements as specified in Company Policies
Schedule:
- 3rd shift: 12am - 8am

Pay rate: $13.00 Hourly with $1.00 shift premium (3rd shift)
