Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Our client is a global world-class leader in the manufacturing of high-quality color cosmetics, skincare, haircare, bath & Body care, OTC, and Nutritional supplements. ttg Talent Solution has been engaged to search for the next Sr. Chemist.
The Senior Chemist for their Skincare Division plays a crucial role in the development and replication of skincare, and over-the-counter (OTC) products. They oversee the coordination and management of day-to-day activities within the formulation lab, ensuring that formulations are developed and replicated promptly while adhering to regulatory standards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and expertise in personal care formulation to meet business needs effectively.
Responsibilities

• To coordinate and manage “day-to-day” formulation lab activities in support of the business needs.
• Develop and replicate personal care formulation by due dates. Manage and coordinate day to day lab regulatory requirements for product development.
• Research & formulation development of skincare, body care, Hair care and OTC products.
• Ensure effective communication coordination and communication with Pilot and Quality.
• Assess project feasibility and assign work to lab technicians/chemist based on the degree of complexity and skills required.
• Assist Pilot with new formulations.
• Ensure effective coordination and communication with the Marketing and Sales Department.
• Interact with Process Engineers, Production, Purchasing and Quality Control Department.
• Assist Marketing/Sales with technical expertise and make joint visits as needed to meet existing or new customers.

Requierements:

• Chemist experience specializing in Skin Care.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and/or equivalence in science related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Skin care experience is a must
• Must Have Over The Counter experience “OTC” which will coincide with FDA experience.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• “Can do” problem solving attitude!

Compensation: Offering a $75k-95K base salary, PTO, benefits, Holidays and more ( more info to be added)
