We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to work one-on-one with our pediatric client, in home and school setting, in the Pottstown, PA area. The available shifts are Monday through Friday Shifts and Weekend Shifts Available! Up to 40-hours available!
Additional Clients in surrounding area (Schwenksville, Limerick, Paoli or Royersford) Full-time or Part-time available!
Requirements for Employment
- Current Pennsylvania Skilled Nursing License
- Current CPR
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must pass State and Federal Criminal Background Checks
- Must have up-to-date Physical and Two-Step PPD or Chest X-ray
- Must be able to pass Skilled Nursing pre-employment test
- Form of Transportation to Client's Residence
Skilled Nurse Job Responsibilities
- Must be a caring and reliable individual who has the ability to work in a diverse atmosphere
- Assess patient's need for safety measures and appropriate interventions.
- Implementation of the Nursing Care Plan as outlined by the Primary Nurse.
- Implement medication changes according to verbal and/or written physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Accurately observe and promptly report changes in the patient's physical or mental status to the Nursing supervisor.
- Accurately record nursing observations, activities, and treatments on the appropriate forms.
- Ability to follow a physician's plan of care under the supervision of our Director of Nursing
- Communicate with family members, in office staff and all supporting health professionals
