Common Ground Construction, a leading social enterprise construction company, is currently seeking a full-time Skilled Laborer to join our team of dedicated construction professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for performing entry-level carpentry tasks with efficiency and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and represent Common Ground's mission, vision, and values
- Exhibit a willingness to learn new skills and seek guidance when needed
- Foster and maintain a teamwork-oriented environment
- Adhere to assigned work scope and directions
- Accurately take measurements and cut, shape, and smooth materials as required
- Communicate any scope changes to the supervisor
- Efficiently manage time and materials
- Meet assigned schedules and deadlines
- Assist the Carpenter in various tasks
- Ensure efficient and safe work practices
- Maintain a clean and secure job site
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervision Received:
This position is regularly supervised by the Project Manager

None
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to climb ladders and carry at least 80 pounds
- Proficient in basic math
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with carpentry tools and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
Salary:
- Starting at $18.00 per hour
