Skilled Handyman Needed Full-time & Part-time

We are looking for reliable Handyman and women who value quality, integrity and building relationships with our clients. We offer repair, renovation and installation services along with maintenance contracts to regularly maintain the home of seniors and busy families.

We’ll rely on you to keep our clients homes in good condition and build relationships so they keep us coming back. We offer the opportunity to work with good people in good conditions and make a good living.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and the reliability of our handyman technicians. We pay by the project but aim to fill the week for those who wish to work fulltime and work with those who want to work part-time.

You must be well-organized with strong general handyman skills. You will be visiting the homes of the individuals as projects and maintenance is scheduled so you must be good at what you do, reliable and enjoy working with people.

Responsibilities

• Help people maintain their homes for safety (seniors) and busy families who need help. Repairs, installations, and renovations.
• Independent, reliable and able to perform quality work on time and in budget
• Paint, sheetrock, patch and repair or new
• Undertake light installation or carpeting (e.g. build cabinets, grab bars, storage shelves, install closet organization systems, etc)
• Repair equipment or appliances and leave area cleaner than you found it
• Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. moving items in and out of storage, clean gutters, and complete 'honey do' lists.)
• Identify and report the need for major repairs

Skills

• Proven experience as handyman
• People skills and building relationships
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
• Basic math skills
• Good communication ability
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
