Here is your chance to join a mission driven Federally Qualified Health Center in the Heart of the Columbia River Gorge. We are seeking a Site Technology Specialist to join our mission-driven team located at our clinic in Hood River, OR. This position is full-time (Monday-Friday) and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

The Site Technology Specialist supports, monitors, and develops systems for staff and facility technology needs. The role enforces and educates teams on Information Technology policy, best practices and related workflows. The Site Technology Specialist will identify and act on opportunities for staff training and skills advancement in the area of technology and information security. The roll will work with their team to resolve end user technology support ticketing needs and achieve the department Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with a focus on quality and service to our patients and staff.

Job Specific Functions:

  • Provide exceptional service in support of technical issues.
  • Solve or escalate technical support tickets in alignment with departmental SLAs.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update hardware and software systems in conjunction with Technology team, operations, and partners.
  • Provide onsite response to our Managed Services Providers in their roles supporting OCH.
  • Ensure support for daily operations and systems of the site and OCH.
  • Drive the timely deployment of new hire equipment and user access.
  • Receive and process new equipment into the existing computer environment and inventory.
  • Support the design and installation for new equipment and systems with Technology Team.
  • Create and maintain documentation on internal systems and processes.
  • Participate in project activities supporting operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members interdepartmentally around operational issues, by engaging teams throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or related discipline or a combination of equivalent education and work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in information systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in a service role.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
  • Able to explore and solve problems logically and consistently using excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to comprehend complex technical materials such as reports, instructions and manuals.
  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of staff, management and partners using excellent interpersonal skills partners in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Capable of maintaining and following operational policies and procedures.
  • Able to meet team and organizational goals safely and with a high level of quality.
  • Able to work effectively in an operation that expects and promotes teamwork.
  • Proven capacity of a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • High level knowledge and skills on Windows endpoints.
  • Knowledge of, and compliance with HIPAA Security and Privacy regulations.
  • Proven proficiency in quality customer service
  • Proven proficiency in promoting workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or a more advanced Microsoft Certification in the area of Microsoft/Office 365 or Azure.
  • Proven experience working with Citrix
  • Working knowledge of network and information management of a highly regulated sector
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in information systems
  • 5+ years of experience in a service role.
  • Experience in a community or migrant health center (FQHC) or other healthcare setting.
